At Hard Hat and Heels Development LLC, our mission is to redefine the landscape of real estate by building with purpose, power, and presence. As a Black woman-owned development firm, we are committed to creating quality, innovative spaces that uplift communities, promote generational wealth, and reflect the strength and vision of women in construction and real estate. We proudly stand at the intersection of grit and grace—driven by a passion to break barriers, build equity, and leave a legacy one foundation at a time.
At just 27 years old, Natika Mitchell took a leap of faith and purchased her her first 2-flat rental property—igniting a passion for real estate and laying the foundation for what would become Hard Hat and Heels Development Group. What started as a bold move to break into a male-dominated industry quickly evolved into a calling to build more than just homes—she set out to build legacy, opportunity, and impact.
As a woman driven by faith, purpose, and vision, Natika founded Hard Hat and Heels to disrupt the status quo in real estate development. Her mission is to create intentional spaces that uplift communities and empower the next generation of women and minority leaders in real estate. With every brick laid and blueprint drawn, she brings a unique blend of grit, grace, and God-given purpose—proving that when faith is the foundation, anything is possible.
